This has been a very interesting week. To talk in code, an early in the week curveball for an upcoming event has been addressed. It’ll be fun to report all that’s been happening later in 2008.
I haven’t run much the last couple of weeks due to a little swelling around my knee, not caused by anything serious and it’s under control now. I’ve been learning to use the Garmin and plan on logging what ever it says, good, bad or ugly, beginning January 1st.
The forecast for tomorrow: Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms in the morning. Then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall in the morning. Breezy. Highs in the upper 50s. West winds 10 to 15 mph in the morning becoming northwest and increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 80 percent in the morning.
The WoodlandsFit/KingwoodFit 21/12 miler is all set to go. We kick things off tomorrow in The Woodlands with our walkers at 5am, marathon runners at 6am and half marathon runners at 6:15am. Special thanks to Luke's Locker for setting up the start/finish line. It should be fun and if we get lucky the front will be ahead of schedule or later in the day and we'll dodge the rain.
Good luck to all the other area USAFit groups and to the Texas Gulf Coast Team In Training runners and walkers doing their last long workout tomorrow. (Our WoodlandsFit Half Marathoners actually have one more long run in a couple weeks)

Me thinks since you used the word "fun" it can only mean you have replaced two of your TIR runners with Sean Wade and Luis Armenteros...
No....different event. We're the same potential 29 hour TIR team.
I think you should display your Sunmart bib No. with a red DNS on it for motivation. :)
