I did a little scouting today on the way home from San Marcos. I took a detour and drove the TIR route from Gonzales to Schulenburg. The first few legs of the relay have some challenging hills. I will have to keep my other notes under wraps for now.

Did you run any of the legs?
I had to muffle my laughter to keep from waking anyone up!

We're not planning who's running what leg for some time. Several legs have no turns. As long as we get him started in the right direction we should OK.
That's cool so long as all the hills are DOWN hills.
