Runner Bill

I sent my last group message for WoodlandsFit to close out the season last night. All we have remaining is our celebration party tomorrow night at Dosey Doe. It's been a great year even with the Hurricane. We had many very good performances at San Antonio, Sunmart and Houston. What I mentioned in my note last night was that while the performances and achievements are worth being very proud of, it's the friendships that come from all the hours of training together that are most important.

I have been very blessed to have met so many great friends through TNT, Luke's Beat and the Fit programs. It's time now to focus on the running club, a small training group and keeping the weekends free for workouts and races. (no Jon & Evan, no RTW tomorrow, I'm sleeping in)

After sending my note I headed to Twin Creeks Middle School and logged a horrible run.(learned this term from Norman) The positive is that horrible is better than nothing.

Well said. It kind of interesting how running fosters friendship. And when you're not running - well, sort of a dry season.
