My 2-mile route is a Garmin Certified route in my subdivision that my non-runner daughter does in about 19 minutes and I don’t…yet. (She is a group aerobics instructor so she is pretty fit)
Monday – Easy 2 miles at 5:30am, HARRA Board meeting at 6pm
Tuesday – Beat Track Workout 6:45pm – just a timer for the group – no running
Wednesday – Easy 2 miles after work
Thursday – No run
Friday – Easy 2 miles then pack for Saturday morning, finally finished the April edition of Deer Tracks.
Saturday – No run for me – Beat Program at Northshore Park at 7am, USAFit ATP (Advanced Training Program) training at Memorial Park 12-3pm.
Sunday – I met up with a good friend William Banes who will be back in action at this years Sunmart Trail Run. We jogged for an hour at the Twin Creeks Middle School track. No watch, didn’t count laps, I just know we started about 6:30pm and stopped at about 7:30 per my cell phone clock.
From Jon's blog after 5K PR's by Karen & Holden this weekend - "Maybe our TIR team will go sub 31 in March 2009. Right Edwin? ;)"
My response - Big congrats to Karen and Holden!!!! All the Bloggers will have to get a little faster for next year. If I just run all of my relay legs without the "Galloway survival" Walk/Run pattern (or was it a walk fast/walk slow pattern) I should knock an hour off the Texian finish time just by myself.
