Fun with Numbers

I’ll be submitting our TIR pace predictor after our run tomorrow morning. I’m still trying to balance the workload a little better without giving up too much time to the Blogger’s. Jon is making me crazy by listing, on his blog, his teams 10K times that he used for his TIR pace predictor. I couldn’t resist seeing what his teams average 10K is compared to our teams average 10K. Ouch! His team’s average is about a minute faster than ours. What that means is….advantage Blogger’s. What saves us some is that we have two runners who are faster than their fastest who will be running some of the longer legs.

I have this reoccurring thought that we will all arrive at the San Jacinto monument at the same time with just the last .38 mile leg to go that the whole team runs together. If this happens we will probably all run in together, Blogger’s and Texians, all celebrating the achievement, new friends, and happy that we had a great time chasing each other for 31 plus hours.

Oh….and since they started behind us they win and I’ll be running 50 miles next February in Huntsville.
