Luke's Track Night

The group plan - warm-up 10 minutes, stretch, then 12 x 1 minute at 90%, with a 1 min recovery jog or walk, cool down and then a quick core workout routine.

My plan - Do half of the workout.

Rick Cook & Cathy Steele did a great job running the show. The Luke's Beat participants were inspiring as all did the complete workout with little trouble. ( less the core exercises as the rain was starting to set in.)

My report - I overstepped the first interval.....paid for it over the next 3, and felt great during numbers 5 & 6. I was doing every other repeat so my recovery was a lot longer than the main group. I did get dogged a little bit by Rick for not doing all 12.....it won't be long before I really start catching up. Overall a very good workout.

Weekly Trash Talk - This Clydesdale has plans to surprise a lot of people. Is the other Clydesdale ( you know who you are ) up for a little challenge to escape this category ?

Well, my contact here in Florida told me today that I've spent more time in the pool than you have ... and you have two triathlons coming up.

Get some pool time and we'll talk about a challenge. :)

I have a Pasadena connection that is helping with pool time.

No worries on the two triathlons.
