Spin for ALS a success

The Woodlands Spin for ALS for The Blazeman Foundation is in the record books. Top Spinners....Kim Hager & Jon Walk tied at 5 hours each.

The event kicked off at 6am. We had a steady flow of spinners all day that included The Woodlands triathlon coach Sandra Sutherland. Our closers were Andrew Perry of Luke's Locker ( also the store closer ) and Les Ellsworth a week off his 100 mile run finish at Rocky Raccoon.

A very special thanks to Mike Lucas and his Luke's Locker Staff who made the event possible. Also big thankyou's to Carol Steele and Pure Fitness for Women on Louetta in Spring and Sedona Fitness for Women in The Woodlands for loaning the spin cycles for use in this event.

Thankyou to all the area runners, triathletes & cyclists who kept the cycles going for 16-1/2 hours and made generous donations to The Blazeman Foundation. A special thanks to Ironman Finisher Mitch Evans who drove all the way from Pasadena to log some time.

Jon & Kim...we made a good team to pull this off in three weeks.
