Time on Facebook is time away from my blog. I’m going to work at setting aside some time each week to keep this more current. (I think I said that two months ago)
Updates
Upstate New York vacation July 18 – 25th was awesome. Planning on the Boilermaker next summer.
Light The Night – Our committee has organized some great sponsors. We’re working on a possible new route that would be very nice if we can get it approved.
Bill Crews Remission Run – Registration is open for the Jan 30th race.
TWRC Summer Sunday Night 5K Series and Kids Run – We’ve held eight 5K’s and two Kids races so far. We have four remaining races scheduled for August 9, 16, 23, & 30th, all at Barbara Bush Elementary School in The Woodlands. The 5K event is just a dollar, which goes to the club’s Dan Green Running Scholarship Fund. Kid’s races – which are free – begin at 7 p.m. followed by the 5K. (A big thanks to Bill Crews for race directing when I was in New York)
Ten for Texas – Look for the Remission Run Crew out on the course race day. That’s the teaser for now.
Track Days
Monday and Tuesday nights have been workouts for the Strive athletes, the small training group I help coach with Kim Hager.
Wednesday is saved for the handful of individual runners I’m very privileged to coach and is always a great night.
Upcoming
Seven Hills Running Club vs TWRC Challenge Race #4 is scheduled for this coming Saturday August 8 at Run The Woodlands 5K. TWRC has a 2 win and 1 loss record with Seven Hills.

Facebook is sucking the life out of blogs. I kinda miss blogging. Miss u 2 Coach Bill. I get reports from Misty on how you are doing :-)
Yep, I think FB is killing a lot of blogs these days. I miss reading them, but certainly understand! Hope you're doing well!
Mine is completely dead. And I used to be the King of the Bloggers.
