Not coaching the “big” training groups is working out to be a very good thing for me. I help with a small track workout on Monday, another small group on Tuesday and I have a few individuals on Wednesday.
Saturday is now a “sleep in” day with no weekend groups to organize. Fridays that used to be spent packing for a 4am Saturday departure are now spent choosing which restaurant to try this week.
With almost 6 months of the easier personal schedule behind me I have found that I have much more energy (and desire) to bring to the table in my coaching, the running clubs activities, and my own running. I’ve managed to be consistent for several weeks and once I get my weight moving in the right direction it could set up to be a really good year.

Way to go Coach Bill see you tonight.
It's amazing how much time you suddenly have for yourself once you give up an activity or two.
Sleeping in on Saturday morning? Get on over to Memorial Park and run with this slowbee!
