Registration for the Chevron Houston Marathon & Aramco Houston Half Marathon is now 89% full.
Wow! This is also the beginning of three weeks of USAFit program sign-ups for training for the Houston event. It'll be interesting. Hopefully most have been proactive and early registered already.
Here’s the question.
When will Houston sell out completely? Will it make it through the weekend?
My guess is that it sell out Tuesday July 8th.
Any guesses?

- I’ve been a runner since the early 70’s, fairly competitive in the 80’s, ultra’s in the 90’s and not a lot since. I’m a member of The Woodlands Running Club and also an RRCA Certified Running Coach. I have recently formed a training group with the help of many great friends, Volte Endurance Training, with the mission to display Christian values, maintain high standards of excellence, promote integrity, respect the fundamental rights, dignity and worth of all our participants, apply and make public our knowledge of sport in order to contribute to the community and encourage all individuals, training groups and clubs. I have wonderful memories from all I’ve done and I know the best is still yet to come with all the great friends I have in the running community.

Has Houston done for marathoning what market speculators have done for the price of oil?
I say Thursday...Just my guess. i wonder if San Antonio is filling up this quick. I may want to register for that one soon.
