Monday – No run
Tuesday – Easy 2 miles in the morning, Beat Track Workout 6:45pm (I heard Jon every time he said “come on…one lap”)
Wednesday – Easy 2 miles, then my daughter’s birthday party. She’s 28 and I’m feeling really old!
Thursday – No run – attended the 7 Hills Running Club meeting at 7pm
Friday – Easy 2 miles
Saturday – No run – Beat Program at Northshore Park at 7am, breakfast at Skeeter’s at 10am, reserved the Library community use room for our upcoming WoodlandsFit Assistant Coaches training at 11:30am, then CPR and First Aid updates beginning at 1pm.
The morning at Northshore was very inspiring. The Beat runners did great doing either 5-1/2 miles or 7 miles. Kim’s athletes did a run, then a bike ride, then another run and then an open water swim. The open water swim was organized by the Community Associations Parks and Recreation for the CB&I Tri participants to have an opportunity to swim the course. There were a lot of people taking advantage of it. The Team In Training group going to the Nashville Marathon next weekend was also there. It was a big reunion of sorts and the park looked pretty cool with all the activity.
A note about my CPR class. I have taken CPR every two years since the late 80’s. This is the first time I actually became sore from practicing compressions. The instructor was very good and was making a point of how you can degrade after about 300 or so compressions. The point being, activate the chain of survival quickly and recruit help if you can. It was a very good class this time around.
Sunday – Easy 4 miles – Church – then TWRC Board meeting at 4pm, worked on the April Deer Tracks, and updated my profile on the RRCA web.
(Deer Tracks will be sent out very soon. I just need one location from our social committee. With the short delay I’m able to add a few more TIR reports.)
The TWRC meeting was very productive. We have early plans for our clubs first event and a couple other items that will be announced soon.
A couple other items that can be announced now are….
June 1 – General Membership Meeting and membership drive picnic. (Location TBA)
June 14 – Rematch with 7 Hills Running Club – at RTW5K – (and we do expect to take the Saw Trophy back)
Congratulations to Jon Walk for completing 4 races in three days this past weekend.

Just wanted to drop in to say hi!
Kim's workouts seem really intense. I would love that(I think I may be sick) LOL!
The club runs sound fun. Way to keep up with your runs on such a busy week.
