My TIR report will have to wait until I have some time to do it justice. It was such an amazing weekend on so many different levels. I sent a note to Jay & Joy Hilscher letting them know what a wonderful time we had, and that I believe the love and passion that they put into the event somehow worked it’s way into the attitude of all the teams. It was an incredible weekend.
But before my TIR report we have round two of The Woodlands Running Club vs Seven Hills Running Club interclub competition series. It's scheduled for this Sunday afternoon at the Health and Kinesiology Center, Sam Houston State University at 2 pm. We (TWRC) won the first meeting in The Woodlands. Now we travel to Huntsville for some competition on their turf. I hope Adrienne is a little tired from the weekend. It’ll be interesting to see how well our club travels.

- I’ve been a runner since the early 70’s, fairly competitive in the 80’s, ultra’s in the 90’s and not a lot since. I’m a member of The Woodlands Running Club and also an RRCA Certified Running Coach. I have recently formed a training group with the help of many great friends, Volte Endurance Training, with the mission to display Christian values, maintain high standards of excellence, promote integrity, respect the fundamental rights, dignity and worth of all our participants, apply and make public our knowledge of sport in order to contribute to the community and encourage all individuals, training groups and clubs. I have wonderful memories from all I’ve done and I know the best is still yet to come with all the great friends I have in the running community.

I'm currently clubless as I left the Houston Striders at the end of last year (too far for me). I noticed that the Woodlands Running Club membership expires at the end of June. I thought about joining it but wouldn't be getting my money's worth if I joined now. So, I'll wait until 7/1 to join. On the other hand, the 7 Hills membership is $7.
Our membership year was set up to mirror HARRA. If you sign up after April 1 your membership will be for 2008/09 and be good for 15 months. We've got the start of a nice club. Fee - $20.00 yr individual, $25/family
Seven Hills is a great deal and a great group of people (why we want to do more and more with them)
I might even join them too.
I'm patiently awaiting my application. It was fun today. Sorry you guys had to surrender the goods. When do my lessons start? :)
