I had to catch myself when describing last night’s workout as easy. The 4 x 400 with a short recovery interval (equal to the time it took to run the 400) is not easy. I call this an easy workout in terms of the duration of time…not in effort. This is a short and very challenging workout. Everyone did great…Tri Sprint, Tri Olympic, Beat Runners…everyone. Anybody notice how Kim keeps that recovery time to the second…no extra rest ever? Timex would be proud.
It looks like we’re all set to crush the Seven Hills Running Club this Saturday…actually it will probably be much closer than that. Seven Hills is bringing 60 plus runners…. we should have about the same number but will be missing some of our faster regular RTW runners.
It should prove to be a fun morning. It really doesn’t matter much who wins in my book. Both clubs are first class organizations. Just getting together and beginning an annual series of challenges (Spring in The Woodlands / Fall in Huntsville) will be fun for both clubs.

I am really looking forward to it! Do you need a volunteer or a runner??
